Sewer Lateral Maintenance

I’ve worked with Reliant Plumbing a bunch times, both for my own old house and for clients (I’m a realtor). He always gets back to me in a timely manner, great work, very fair pricing. I recommend him to anyone.

Matt is an incredibly knowledgeable plumber. Very punctual, very communicative and very AFFORDABLE. If you ever need a South Bay plumber I would continually call on Reliant. I would wait for an opening if Matt is booked. I would not look to call any of the other local plumbers. You will be disappointed. Super nice guy, super engaging. I give them a 10 out of 10.

Matt at Reliant Plumbing and Drain is the best! Wednesday afternoon we heard a loud noise outside our house, went out to check, and found water spraying everywhere. The break was below our home's shut-off valve, so we had to kill the water at the main line by the street. We called a well-known plumbing company in the South San Jose/Morgan Hill area. Plumber #1 showed up, helped shut off the water, then spent about 1.5 hours pitching us on replacing our entire water line. I told him at least 5 times that I just wanted the broken pipe fixed and would deal with a long-term fix later. He finally gave us two quotes: $3,300 to repair the broken pipe, or $25,000 to replace the entire line from the street to the house — with a heavy push toward 0% financing for 18 months. Still in shock, I found Reliant Plumbing and Drain and sent Matt a few photos of the broken pipe. He quoted $395 over the phone. My first thought was, "What's the catch?" It was already 5:35pm, after normal business hours, and Matt said he'd come straight over and fix it that night. He showed up 10 minutes later and had it repaired in 40 minutes. He came back first thing the next morning to turn the water main back on. Permanent fix, no drama. It's been a full day with zero issues. Matt saved us from what would've been a $2,800+ overpay. Can't recommend him enough.

Toilet tank had a leak. Realized it after putting those blue cleaning pucks in. Saw a leak and contacted the property manager. Matt from Reliant plumbing called right after I put the request. Like less than 45mins. Asked for photos of the toilet. Came the next day and fixed the issue within 20mins. Went straight to work, fast and quick. Super satisfied with the job. Thanks again Matt!

I had a jammed garbage disposal (don’t ask me why) and felt absolutely hopeless in my endeavor to fix it on my own. I called the main number I found on Google for Reliant Plumbing and spoke to Matt. He was extremely helpful and walked me through diagnosing and fixing the issue over the phone. He even sent me a video he recommended to watch, which was really helpful for a visual learner like myself. As soon as we were done speaking over the phone, I was able to fix the jam with a hex key slotted to the bottom of the disposal and twist until there was no more friction from foreign objects obtruding the blades. I’ve never felt so accomplished and dumb at the same time! What I really appreciate is how honest and genuine of a person Matt was to walk me through the steps to easily fix the disposal myself and insisting I save my money by not requiring him to come fix it. The least I could do is leave a good review for Matt and his business. I’m sure he’d do just as great of a job if you needed his services to be done in person as well.

I had two toilets and a sink leaking and running water all day I was quoted $8000 by another Morgan Hill Plumbing company that charged me for the estimate visit For the same job I was quote just under $ 800 with free estimate They started this business 2 years ago  and they service Hollister to San Mateo I want to make sure they stay in business was because finding a transparent and honest plumber is very important for a homeowner So professional and they cleaned out the tanks for both toilet before he changed out the internal plumbing and fixtures they also cleaned the my bathroom floors in case they make a mess or spilled water He came at 3:45 and was done by 4 He showed up within the two hour window An honest and transparent plumber He will be back to fix other issues he’s gained a life long client

Matt fixed a clog in our sewer line. He promptly called with an estimated arrival time and provided an update when he knew he was delayed. He was very respectful and professional the entire time. Fixed the clog efficiently and quickly.
